After my merit raise and the new insurance rates, I make LESS money than last year?

One of our members recently sent this financial breakdown to us:
$700 Performance Raise / 24months = 29.16 per check

$49.70 * 2 = $99.40 Health Insurance month (OLD)

$63.17 * 2 =$126.34 Health Insurance month (NEW)

$25 Month spousal surcharge applied for spouses who are eligible for benefits

$25 month * 12 months = $300 year

$2.00 * 2 = $4.00 Dental Insurance per month (OLD) $48.00 per year (OLD)

$17.85 * 2 = $35.70 Dental Insurance per month (NEW) $428.40 per year (NEW)

New Deductions ———————– $26.94 PPO Insurance difference from 2013-2014

+ $25.00 Spousal Insurance

$51.94 PPO more per month for Insurance

+ $35.70 per month for PPO Dental

= $87.64 More per month Deducted for paycheck

-$29.16 Performance Raise

= -$ 58.48 Less per paycheck per month

$58.48 * 12 = 701.76

– 700.00 performance Raise

– $1.76

still in the red after our new raise.
